Why the Prawn’s Pink: We’re launching The Winking Prawn book!
Hoping that this finds you having just enjoyed a wonderful half term break, we have much to celebrate now that summer is here!
As you will hopefully know, our barbecue is in full swing, heralding the official arrival of summer, and our famous Just One Prawnetto ice cream van has returned after its winter makeover.
However, to top it all off, we have launched our very own children’s book - now available at The Winking Prawn!
Why The Prawn’s Pink is a picture book complete with children’s activities that we hope you and your family will be able to enjoy over an ice cream or two, as well as at home to remind you of happy Salcombe summers. We like to think it makes the perfect gift too!
Written and illustrated locally, there are familiar sites throughout the story, not least of all our beautiful North Sands beach. It also includes games and activities based on the surrounding area such as eye spy.
We hope you will enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed putting it together!
