Our beachside restaurant in Polzeath, The Cracking Crab, has reopened for the summer following a bit of a makeover!

Far from hibernating, we have been working hard throughout the winter months, renovating our shabby chic space with a larger bar area and new booths that seat up to eight people and offer a more ambient, intimate dining space that’s particularly great for groups and parties.

No renovation would be complete without a lick of paint, but we have given the idea a bit of a twist, completing the coral and turquoise interiors with new artwork designed by The Blackboard Guy - a Devon-based artist we have worked with for a number of years, who takes sign-writing and calligraphy to a whole new level - check out his interview HERE.

It’s not only the interiors that have been given a little bit of a refresh.  Our menus offering seafood and other classics from breakfast through to dinner, have been given a little spruce all of their own.

The team are excited to welcome locals and visitors to celebrate the start of the spring/summer season, and with a new look comes a renewed need for more team members, so we’re also on the lookout for those wanting to join the ranks with vacancies for kitchen and waiting staff available - get in touch to find out more!
